Tweetbooty, Center of Attention at Launchup

Tweetbooty was invited to an awesome event on March 25th, at Doba Headquarters. The event is called LaunchUp and it’s a new project spearheaded by Doba CEO, Jeremy Hanks. LaunchUp is described as a community-based advisory board if you will. A way to help get some companies launched, or help existing companies launch past problems to new levels. Make the world a better place by being innovative and disruptive, since, IMHO, that’s the essence of entrepreneurship and technology.

The event was packed with 70 entrepreneurs, business owners, CEO’s many leaders in the technology space. Another 30 or so were following along online. Tweetbooty presented our brand and message to the group and got some awesome feedback.

In true booty fashion, we staged a live giveaway during the event and the lucky guy below walked away with Skullcandy Skullcrushers. Hey ‘lucky guy’, if you are reading this, send us a link to your Twitter account. Thanks!

Tweetbooty and Costa Vida Making Some Noise!

If you were following the in any of our group accounts a few weeks back and you live near a Costa Vida, you most likely remember the Pork Burrito giveaway. It was a highly successful, and Costa Vida got some huge national coverage from outlets like CNN, CNBC, Yahoo Business, and many other national media outlets. Tweetbooty down at UVU in Orem Utah!

The Tweetbooty crew was down in Orem, Utah recently promoting our new site and awesome opportunity for college kids to reap the rewards of free and discounted stuff from local advertisers. Many of them said they took advantage of the free Pork Burrito from Costa Vida, and we super stoked on the way it worked.

We gave away a bunch of Tweetbooty tees, spread the word and walked away with a smile. It was a great day at UVU. Thanks for making it happen!

Birdhouse Skateboard Deck Winner! Congrats @B_T!!

Congrats go out to @B_T as he becomes the first winner to the first ever contest on Tweetbooty! Nice work B_T!

We were able to get 200 followers in just over one week! Nice job everyone to spreading the word and retweeting!

So we learned alot about how to run these contests a bit smoother for next time and we will be making a couple simple changes to the format, and addressing it today.
